This designed apparel series are truly not for everyone, but exclusively for those who celebrate alongside those with connections to this Northwest Baltimore Community renowned for the popular social media dance "The Park Heights Strut." Several popular celebrities are associated with Baltimore's Park Heights to include Jada Pinkett Smith, current Mayor Brandon Scott, and Frank Zappa. This area is nationally known for the annual Preakness Stakes horse races, but its core heritage is founded on the many men and women, former historical rivals that were referred to as "The Top" and "The Bottom," who ultimately unified and made way for the Park Heights Renaissance.
The toddler feet of our lead artist and owner powered a Big Wheel around the courtyard of the Thorndale Apartments (Up Top) and was later groomed in lower Pimlico and Shirley Street Park region (Down Bottom). This dual perspective bridges an appreciation of the historical artistry incorporated in insignias and designs of each PARK HEIGHTS VINTAGE garment.
